This shows the number of that post in the thread (starting from 1) as used here on the iBSupported skin, the Post no. in this thread: part.

Files needed:
cgi-bin/Sources/Topic.pm
cgi-bin/Skin/Default/TopicView.pm
------
Topic.pm
Find:
| Code Sample |
for my $Row (@{$total_posts}) {
|
and replace that with:
| Code Sample |
my $ctr = $First;
for my $Row (@{$total_posts}) {
$ctr++;
$Row->{'ctr'} = $ctr;
|
Save and upload
------
TopicView.pm
Find:
| Code Sample |
$data->{'POST'}->{'POST_DATE'}
|
and after that add (or where ever you want the number to show):
| Code Sample |
Post no. in this thread: $data->{'POST'}->{'ctr'}
|
Save and upload
NOTE: You must rebuild you skin .cfg files using the link in the AdminCP after adding this hack.

I done excactly what you said and this is what i get....how do we fix this
Ikonboard CGI Error

I had to go back and add this in place of what you have in your post
(@{$total_posts})
instead of this and now it is working.
(@total_posts)
