I've just switched from using a DBM database to a mySQL database and I was wondering which files/folders I can now delete.

Can anyone tell me which files/folders can go and which must be kept.  I know that Languages, Skin, Source, and Non-cgi stuff need to be kept.

Hi,

Once you're comfortable that your mySQL database is stable... that's funny, compared to DBM   ... DBM not being as stable.

Anyway, you can simply drop the DBM database.  The rule of thumb is give it a week on mySQL, then dump that sucker!

You do not need any of the .tar files (Data, Database, Languages, non-cgi, Skin & Source) that you used during the install.  You can, if you like, delete the install_module & INSTALL_DATA directories, but I don't usually.  Oh, if the installer didn't do it for you, you can delete (and it's highly recommended) the installer.cgi & ikonboard.conf.

Hope that helps

I've dropped the database, I assume that I can now delete the entire Database folder.

The reason for checking this is that I have Email-log.cgi left in the directory.
